I will stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.

Former two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I will really want to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Size Disparity

As both boxers engaged in the customary confrontation, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
