'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League homecoming
Kane celebrates his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has stated that his desire in coming back to the Premier League has faded and he is open to negotiate a new contract with Bayern Munich.
The star striker is at the moment two years through the four-year contract he signed when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the transfer window of 2023.
The experienced forward has accumulated an outstanding 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German club, contributing them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which represented the initial important honor of his distinguished career.
Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has previously stated that he would like to see Kane come back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring feat of 260.
However, the England skipper has now indicated that he is no longer as eager about returning home as he previously was, and would certainly think about prolonging his time in Bavaria.
"In terms of extending longer, I could absolutely see that," he remarked.
"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be open to talk and have an frank conversation.
"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so unfolds and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not thinking about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different chances and different periods happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."
Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the record top scorer for both Tottenham and England and lately became the quickest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five divisions, reaching the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a title had eluded him until he won the German title last season.
Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would respond after ending his trophy barren spell, but now feels it has made him motivated for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.
"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.
"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
